Planning Center Services App Reviews

The service provided by the planning center tools is phenomenal! There are always things that could be better - but I can say that this tool is essential to good communication, planning, and organizing. Thank you PCO team!!

I tried to update to the latest version and it wont finish installing. Wish I could get the old version back. At least it worked.

Loses one star for continuing to double songs when I add them to a plan from the app and loses another because when you try to delete a needed position it either doesnt, or adds MORE for some reason.

The old version of this app worked great, but the glitches on this one tempt me to uninstall it altogether. Ive tried uninstalling, re-installing, powering off, etc. Nothing has helped.

I like this app for on the go to sign up to serve with children, but I cant get the update..... Also, I wish I could see the people I would be serving with before I sign up like the computer version - I might just not get to see others because I cant get the update.

The framework is there, but the bugs are just awful for creating services and scheduling people. I end up having to use my computer every time. For the amount of money our church spends on this program, we really deserve a better app to actually manage our church schedule. How many churches are spending how much? Where are the developers? What are they working on?

First of all, I LOVE Planning Center. The app leaves a little to be desired though. I wish there was a Matrix option like there is on the website. The problem of the number changing over and over again for how many people are needed in a position has still not been fixed. Once in a while it says that planning center failed to load. The only way to get rid of that popup is to close the app.

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. Very buggy app and makes it difficult to use. Hope they squash these bugs so the app will be worthwhile to use.

I really like the app, but sometimes the lists of people and positions will disappear for no reason.

This app is awesome! From time to time you have a hiccup, but all apps do. PCO is an awesome product in general, I expect to see it take over the lead in ChMS systems soon.

App has been a joy for our ministry to manage all areas in one central location. The last several versions of the app do not auto refresh when launched. Plans from several weeks ago are always showing up at the top and it has to be manually refresh. It would be great if there were a time stamp added to block out dates when they are added to PCO.

Every time I download all the songs first. So no issue, right? No. I am constantly,back to back, getting "Failure to load" I cant choose another song. I cant do anything. So I have to close the app and reload it and its annoying when your practicing and you have to go through another 10 step process for every song.

Blackout dates is a bit complicated. Please take a look. And please add touch ID!!

This is an extremely handy app for a very useful service! However, I feel that the options for blacking out dates could be much more useful. Having an option to repeat a black out every other week (instead of every first or third Sunday, for example) would be helpful for those on rotating schedules, as well as the ability to black out for just specific groups you are involved in rather than all-or-nothing. As of now I am left having to black out every other Sunday individually, and constantly have to deny requests for certain groups because I am not available for that one on that day, but I am for another group.

Its a great app, just this past update makes it glitch all over the place, sometimes it will completely make it seem like everything is wiped out.

It is ok just to see the schedule.

Was working fine before the most recent update. Now I cant download the update or even reinstall to my device.

I love PCO, but Ive felt for a while now that this app is lacking features to make it worth using for schedulers like myself. This only intensified by the fact that it has not been updated (yet) for iPad pro, so it just looks like a super blown up iphone app with no advantages for the extra screen space whatsoever. I hope MCT addresses this soon...

We love the app for planning and giving records. We would like to see a memo line to describe designated giving items a little more. We use general categories for giving and it definitely would help our bookkeeper if items could be more defined. It would be good if our givers could see exactly what their designated item was for.
